What kind of document is the weekly business report?
A weekly work report is a document that organizes what you did during the week, what you plan to do next week, and what you are currently stuck on. It provides a basis for managers to understand the status of their team and make necessary decisions.
Teams that thrive on reporting have something in common. Instead of listing what you did, write down the results, justify the progress, and write down any help needed for issues. If you write "confirmed in three areas of reorganization scope" instead of "attended the meeting," readers can make an immediate judgment.
The basis for the decisions made in the report is proceedingsYes, requests to other departments are Before business cooperationIf you leave a message, the record will not be interrupted.
Formatting
The text is one A4 page. Affiliation and reporting period are placed at the top, followed by this week's performance table, next week's plan, issues and cooperation requests below. If you download it in Word, a page of writing instructions will be attached at the end.

Things you can easily miss when writing
01Write down the results, not the things you did. A report must be able to be judged by the reader.
02Write down your plans for next week in conjunction with this week's performance. You can catch the delay only when you can see what has passed.
03If you can enter a number, do so. “320 sign-ups, an 18% increase from the previous week” is much shorter and more accurate than “it increased a lot.”
04Raise issues that require a decision to the top of the issue column. If you write it below, it won't be read.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many lines should I write about performance?
This form has 5 lines. If you have to write down more than five tasks per week, it's easier to group similar tasks together. Listing all the detailed tasks hides important progress.
What do I write in the progress box?
Write briefly, such as “Completed,” “70%,” or “Pending,” and provide the evidence in the remarks. Just writing down percentages is meaningless, so leave a status such as "Draft completed, awaiting review."
What do you write in an issue?
Write down what you cannot solve alone. You need a response from another team, are waiting for a decision, or are short on budget or manpower. Just write down the problem and it will be reported, and if you write down the necessary decisions or help, it will be resolved.
How do you write down unfinished tasks?
Instead of hiding it, write it down as progress in your performance and then write it down again in your plan for next week. You can spot schedule delays early if you see the same item going back and forth for several weeks.
I need a payment field, but I don't have one?
This form only has fields for the reporting subject and the author's signature. If it is an in-house policy that requires an approval line, download it in Word and add an approval table at the top.
Is what I write saved on the server?
It is not saved. The information you enter is processed only within the browser, and PDF and Word files are also created on the user's device. If it is a document you write every week, you can continue revising past content by turning on temporary storage.
This is general information for guidance purposes, and reporting formats and payment procedures may vary depending on company regulations.
